Social Business with a Twist
The magdas HOTEL
Colorful, open-minded, and bold: Today, we introduce a unique place in a unique city - the magdas HOTEL in Vienna. This small hotel in the heart of Vienna brings together life stories from all over the world. People with refugee backgrounds find both employment and training opportunities here, bringing diverse skills, talents, languages, and cultural backgrounds to this special place.
We all know the hospitality industry often faces a shortage of skilled workers. At the same time, refugees often struggle to find opportunities in the job market. magdas HOTEL opens doors to people regardless of origin, religion, race, or language barriers, giving them a chance to become hosts and gain marketable skills.
The magdas concept is based on a social business model, prioritizing people over profit. Its goal is to create meaningful jobs and provide solid training.
